Kickstar returns with Sylvestar as the moon becomes visible.
Sylvester puts a paw to Silvertail's swollen belly. "Kickstar, don't be lazy! Get a thick stick that won't splinter!"
"Oh, got it." He races out and returns with a thick stick.
Sylvestar smiles and gives Silver tail the stick. "Bite down if you feel any pain. There are five kits."

Bic: She licked the 5 heads of her kits. She looked up at Kickstar smiling.
Jumpkit squirmed around and bumped into Cloudkit. Jumpkit whined and started suckling on Silveryails belly.
Silvertail smiled.

BIC: Cloudkit squealed and shoved Jumpkit, trying to suckle.
Autumnkit suckled quietly.
Shadekit whimpered, being excluded from suckling.

Silvertail grabbed Shadekit by the scruff and put her by Maplekit. Silvertail yawned and put her head on Kickstars paws.

Shadekit whimpered as there was no room for him. There was no place for him to suckle. He mewed in thirst.
